Some favourites...
- Camera: Currently loving my Nikon d850. Also have a special place in my heart for my little collection of analogue cameras!
- Beach: Belvoir on Herm. When I need a bit of a mental rest, it's the edge of the sea on Belvoir Bay that I'm imagining!
- Mountain: The Langdales. What a walk... what peaks... what views!
- Personal Photo: It's got to be one with my nephews and niece where we all look feral covered head to toe in paint. I'm a messy Auntie.
- Professional Image: It didn't quite place on the podium, but my Bantam portrait has to be up there!
About MeI am... a lover of tea, conversation and a good book... very proudly from Guernsey... slightly geeky with films...
Whilst my background is a bit varied - Literature & History degree, work in design and photography, experience in youth and children's work - the central interest is people, stories and memories. I love to hear about, participate in and record moments and memories. I first started taking photographs with a clown camera I had as a child. Whether there were actual photographs produced or whether said camera was a toy, I'm not entirely sure, however the passion started. I had the privilege of working for Yasmin Mariess, a leading photographer in Guernsey, and on moving to the UK set up de la Mare Photography in 2008. I love to work creatively with people whether it be photographing portraits, weddings, pets, landscapes - it's an honour to be involved in people's lives. My priority is creating the photographs you want. View our Privacy Policy or contact us for more information.
