Mini-Shoot Studio Day - Wednesday 12th April 2023
Join us for one of our Easter Mini-Shoot Studio sessions! A perfect addition to your Easter plans, our special mini-shoots tend to be around 30 minutes long and are a lot of fun. Whilst the sessions are shorter than our full portrait shoots, they are a great way to capture a small selection of fantastic photos. Sessions cost £35 and include one photo of your choice (the digital image and a 5x7" print), with additional options available from our price list at your viewing. Book online by choosing your time above, or contact us for more information.

what happens?
Our special 30-minute mini-shoots are a shorter version of our full sittings - with one of our full sittings, we take a little more time (usually at least an hour) so our mini-shoots are more compact.
We'll take a couple of minutes to settle you in to the studio and then take a small variety of photos during your mini-shoot. After your session in the studio, we'll book a viewing where you can see your gallery and order your photos - this can either be over a coffee or on Zoom.

who are mini-shoots for?
Mini-shoots are perfect for small family groups (up to five people), as well as individual or small groups of children. For more shy children, larger groups or babies under 3 months, we would advise booking a full portrait session where there is more time. We're not able to offer pet portraits at this location but get in touch to book a pet mini-shoot.
What's included and what are the prices?
Included is the session on the 12th April and a viewing within the next three weeks, as well as one photo of your choice (the digital image and a 5x7" print). All our prices are available on our Portraiture Shop and we have special mini-shoot package bundles you can chose from at your viewing.
where do the sessions take place?
Our Easter Mini-Shoots are taking place at the Soulands Studio near Dacre, Penrith. You can find directions and photos on their website here.
Directions: From Rheged, take the A592 down towards Ullswater. A short time after passing Dalemain Mansion, take the road on the right sign-posted to Dacre. Soulands Studio is the next property you come to on the right hand side. The studio and carpark sit behind the long low farmhouse. |
are outdoor shoots available?
Our current Mini-Shoot day is in the Studio. However our Portrait Sittings are often outside and we are also planning Woodland and Garden Mini-Shoots later in the year for humans and furry friends. Join our newsletter to find out when they are released.
de la Mare Photography is run by Rachael de la Mare
About MeI am... a lover of tea, conversation and a good book... very proudly from Guernsey... slightly geeky with films...
Whilst my background is a bit varied - Literature & History degree, work in design and photography, experience in youth and children's work - the central interest is people, stories and memories. I love to hear about, participate in and record moments and memories. I first started taking photographs with a clown camera I had as a child. Whether there were actual photographs produced or whether said camera was a toy, I'm not entirely sure, however the passion started. I had the privilege of working for Yasmin Mariess, a leading photographer in Guernsey, and on moving to the UK set up de la Mare Photography in 2008. I love to work creatively with people whether it be photographing portraits, weddings, pets, landscapes - it's an honour to be involved in people's lives. My priority is creating the photographs you want. View our Privacy Policy or contact us for more information.
