There is great beauty in catching moments and memories – be they special days or projects. We love to capture stories, especially ones that are in the process of continual change. There is something so satisfying in photographing gardens; they are both transient and the product of much hard-work and a narrative that starts long before the photo is taken and will continue long afterwards.
From an indoor plant collection to an outdoor space, gardens are such a picture of our personalities. They are part of the fabric of our day-to-day lives and a large contributor to our sense of home. As a result, photographic records are both nostalgic, in the best sense of the word, and aesthetic, capturing the beauty of our gardens and the memories that they represent.
