As a vintage-lover and a sucker for glamorous old films - this one was a style I've been wanting to photograph for a while. The model suited the style beautifully too and the hair manages to look wonderfully retro and modern. There's more than a touch of old Hollywood here! Stylist: Sheridan Armstrong - Model: Kirsty Nolan. There are more of these here on facebook.
Another three from the Eden Boutique sessions - a great variety in these ones. I believe two are prom night themed and one is avant-garde... I'll let you guess which one that is! The peacock was beautifully complimented by the green panelling we found on site at Newton Rigg. Having visited Newton Rigg with outdoorsy friends quite a few times it was lovely to go for a more glamorous occasion! Click on the images to go to the facebook albums.
Back in March I spent two afternoons with the learners and staff at Eden Boutique at Newton Rigg College, photographing their work. The learners produced the hair and overall styles including outfits and make-up. Absolutely lovely! Where possible I will be attributing to the stylist and model (and tagging on facebook), however if I don't have your name please let me know and I'll add the details in!
