Firstly, the name 'in the night garden' deserves to be the title of a novel or a poem! Not that children's programmes aren't important but there is more impact in the name than, perhaps, is needed. It might be the fact that it reminds me of Tom's Midnight Garden. There's a sense of mystery and magic.
Just as the light was fading at 10pm this evening, I popped outside to see what was going on in my night garden. Most of the birds were tucked up in their nests but the floral was still soak in the last morsels of sunlight. Making good use of a tripod and my skirt as a wind-break these are some of the results. I was pleasantly surprised by the x-ray style of some of the images. I did take a tiny bit of footage too, but that always takes longer to upload so for the time being, here are the photos...
